Khaled Hosseini, critically acclaimed author of "The Kite Runner", will appear in conversation with Harvard University scholar Dr. Barbara Petzen. "The Kite Runner" is an eloquent coming-of-age story set in Afghanistan before the Taliban took control. A taut adventure, it brings to life a part of the world that is frequently in the news, but whose culture is rarely covered in any depth. "The Kite Runner" appeared on the New York Times Best Seller List for three years and is the second most circulated book in public library history.
