The Kirkwood Business Owners' Association is holding its first ever "HallowPalooza", a Halloween-themed event for children, pets, parents, ghouls and goblins on Halloween evening; Friday, October 31st from 5pm-8pm. The downtown businesses in this charming and historic Atlanta neighborhood will be offering music, special games and contests for trick-or-treaters, who are encouraged to pick-up a neighborhood map in one of the participating shops and stay in Kirkwood to take part in the organized trick-or-treat sponsored by the Kirkwood Neighbor's Organization from 6pm-10pm.
Carved and decorated pumpkins can be entered into a contest at Gitche Ya Ya from 3pm-6pm. Other businesses inluding Le Petite Marche, Augusta Designs, Mission Motif and PB&J will be offering sales and specials and candy and games for the children. Costume contests will be held for children at 6pm at Urabn Pie Pizza, for pets at 7pm at Kirkwood Feed & Seed, and Adults at 8pm at Ace's Bar and Grill. All contests are free to enter and prizes will be awarded.
