For over ten years, University of Salford student composers have had the unique opportunity to have their music played and published through this prestigious competition. As a result of this event, the Kirklees Publishers have a section of their catalogue known as the ‘Salford Collection’.

A number of previous prize winners have gone on to compose significantly for the brass repertoire. This is an exceptional opportunity to listen to this year’s competition entries. Among the adjudicators will be joint Managing Directors, David and Graham Horsfield.
