When Ian McKellen and Trevor Nunn first worked together more than a quarter century ago at the Royal Shakespeare Company, they vowed that one day they would collaborate on KING LEAR. Beginning Thursday, Sep 6 they are doing just that and more, pairing the tragic tale of Lear with Chekhov's masterful account of unrequited love and ambition, THE SEAGULL. Performances of THE SEAGULL begin Sep 7.
