King James and the Serfs of Swing is an exciting 10 piece jazz band drawing on the tradition of the Kansas City Count Basie Band and the Duke Ellington Band, Cotton Club era. With a swingin' danceable groove, hot soloists and classic vocals, King James and the Serfs of Swing plays music which conjures up the Jazz age and sets the atmosphere tingling. The band has been featured at the East Coast Jazz Festival and played Washington's "Blues Alley."
