Kindlewood + Duke Walker April 20, 2012

kindlewood is a DC-based, independent, dream folk-pop, 3 piece band. After releasing their debut LP, Desiderium (which received notable press and support) in May of 2011, they set out on a 2.5 month US tour; an adventure filled with breakdowns, long nights in Walmart parking lots, a leaking roof (on their '85 Jamboree that they later ditched) and an empty bank account, but also with laughter, determination and wonderful, new friendships. Despite a debilitating robbery in the second half of their tour, they finished with success and are back home in DC (Maryland proper) planning for a great 2012. They'll kick things off with the release of their new single at Jammin' Java in April and could not be more excited.
