Kinara-Making With Museum for African Art December 27, 2007

Celebrate the holidays with the Museum for African Art and the Dana Discovery Center. In this workshop, participants will construct their own Kwanzaa candleholder, called a kinara, using rolled colored paper. The Museum for African Art teachers will shed light on the symbolism of kinaras and the meaning of Kwanzaa.
