Between shows Kina maintains her famously direct relationship with her supporters - The Kinerds and Kination - from her social networks to her YouTube channel, which is updated with both original and cover songs. Her YouTube channel has nearly 270,000 subscribers and her videos have been viewed 55-million times.

"I feel so fortunate to have been born at a time when there are so many different tools available to artists. It's not that they allow you to make it on your own, it's that they allow you to find the people who believe in you and support you, and together, really do something special."

In 2011 Kina will release a remixed and remastered version of Stairwells, this time in stores and internationally, thanks to an independent label partner in One Haven Music. This new version of Stairwells will include fan-favorites "Valentine" and "Message From Your Heart". In addition to four brand new tracks. Kina will also release a deluxe version of the album, which will include all 14 songs from the original release as well as a recorded selection of Kina's covers, original live performance video, and her "Valentine" music video.

"My hope is that in partnering with One Haven, Stairwells wil be able to reach even more people. Knowing what a huge role music has played in my life, how much it has helped me and comforted me and inspired me, I just want to share my music with as many people as I can in the hopes that it can do some good for someone somewhere."

Kina will spend the rest of 2011 continuing to support Stairwells - both on tour and online, in North America and around the world - and doing what she does best: talking to friends and followers, supporters and strangers, and writing and performing her sweet, melancholy, hope-filled songs. And, as always, saving drowning honeybees from pools whenever she gets the chance.
