This Northfield Sesquicentennial Event features youth choirs from across Northfield joining voices SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2:30 p.m., at the Middle School Auditorium.

More than 250 students from Bridgewater, Prairie Creek, Northfield Middle School, St. Dominic's, Sibley and the Northfield Youth Choirs will perform together and separately. The music will feature three Northfield composers: CAROLYN JENNINGS (A Menagerie of Songs ? settings of poems from The Raucous Auk: A Menagerie of Poems by Maryann Hoberman), DANIEL KALLMAN (from his "Country Scenes" #1 The Pasture, and #2 The Five Little Chickens) and HOLLY FISCHER'S "Walk by the River."

This concert is free of charge.
