Kids Discovery Days: Newt Walk February 9, 2008

Get ready for a Newt hunt. Sheila Larsen, ARC volunteer and herpetologist, will take children (8 years and older) and adults on a walk in search of this elusive amphibian, which comes out this time of year for mating season. She'll discuss their history, diet, predators, breeding habits and much more. Because they are so elusive Sheila will do her best to find a great place for this walk so the location will be determined closer to February.
