Kid 'N Ewe was begun in 1989 by a small group of Natural Colored Wool Grower Association members, who were handspinners and/or handweavers, hoping to promote natural Texas fiber by educating and marketing the products of the animals they raised.
Sponsored by Fiber Producers of Texas, Texas Cashmere Association, South Central Llama Association, and State of Texas Alpaca Ranchers (STAR), Kid n Ewe and Llamas Too is open to the public to provide quality supplies and equipment to crafts people, and share knowledge about fiber producing plants and animals. The festival is held at the Kendall County Fairgrounds in Boerne, Texas.
