Kick It! Soccer Fans Of All Ages Can Join Professional Athletes And Celebrities For Free Day Of Outdoor Activities At Second Annual Tribeca/nyfest Soccer Day April 21, 2012

Fans of all ages and skill levels are welcome to “kick it” at the second annual Tribeca/NYFEST Soccer Day on Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Pier 40, located at 353 West Street (at Houston Street), in Manhattan.

Part of the 11th edition of the Tribeca Film Festival, Tribeca/NYFEST Soccer Day brings together celebrities, film and media professionals, and New York City youth for a day filled with athleticism, learning and fun. The day’s highlights will include:
• Some of New York’s most recognizable professional athletes, musicians, actors and fashion stars facing off in a celebrity soccer exhibition starting at 2:00 PM;
• A youth soccer showcase featuring skills clinics, games and competitions focusing on speed, agility, power and accuracy throughout the day;
• Street team soccer demonstrations throughout the day.
• Teams representing companies in the film and entertainment industry competing throughout the day.
