Born in Syria in 1970 into a family of musicians and art critiques, Khaled studied fine arts at the university of Damascus and got his masters degree in 1997. He studied calligraphy at the Islamic History, art, and culture center in Istanbul and dedicated his subject to calligraphy of beautiful texts and poetry
