The Village Quill proudly presents the first New York solo exhibition of Khach Turabian.
Khach Turabian was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and he began taking pictures with his first camera when he was 10 years old. After coming to New York in 1986, he continued his love of still images, and now works as a professional photographer.
Influenced by the photography of artists like Robert Frank and John Tice, Turabian's work seeks out the harmony between people and landscapes, nature and human culture. Often seen through such contrasts, his images reflect narratives, finding symetry in the drama of shadow and light.
