The debut concert of the newly formed West Side Chamber Orchestra will be under the baton of Canadian conductor Kevin Mallon. Mallon was concert-master for Les Arts Florissants and Le Concert Spirituel in Paris, before he joined Toronto’s Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra. The St. Peter’s performance will include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and Mozart’s Piano Concerto K.466, which will feature Canadian pianist Francine Kay, who received an Artist Diploma from Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of Music.
