The Grateful Dead's Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay, Mookie Siegel of the David Nelson Band, Phil and Friends, and Kingfish, Wendy Lanter of Hope in Time, and Jeff Mattson, Tom Circosta, Klyph Black and Joe Ciarvella of the The Zen Tricksters, have come together to form an all new ensemble, Kettle Joe's Psychedelic Swamp Revue. Formed out of a chance happening - the coming together of these seasoned and highly regarded musicians at a benefit concert for the Rex Foundation . Kettle Joe's will be touring year-round as the new full-time musical vehicle for all of these incredible artists. The band will be doing lots of original material, contributed (and increasingly co-written) by its various members, along with some truly choice covers, performing shows that will both thrill and surprise audiences across the U.S., as Kettle Joe's rocks out across a wide variety of musical genres, showing off both the extraordinary musicianship and songwriting craft of its members.
