This is a rare opportunity to see a master filmmaker's work-in-progress more than a year before the film's release. Following in the tradition of The Civil War, Baseball, and Jazz, Ken Burns's next multipart epic is on World War II—the seminal event of the twentieth century. The episode we will screen retells the war from the perspective of four American towns that sent their boys to war.
