Ken Berman Piano Trio August 8, 2010

The East Bay express recently praised Mr. Berman as “daring” and “straddling genres,” comparing him to Vijay Iver and Aaron Parks. Ken's new release Looking Forward(2010), features a dynamic trio including bass virtuoso Kai Eckhardt and the critically acclaimed Akira Tana on drums performing a set of extraordinary original compositions that bring to mind the classic trios of Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, and Bill Evans, while at the same time maintaining a unique and inimitable sound.
The Bach Dancing & Dynamite presents touring live jazz and classical performances at the Douglas Beach House. Legendary for its intimate concert room and 180 degree ocean views, it is 40 minutes from downtown San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Tickets at the door at 3 pm. Music starts at 4:30, goes to 7:30 with intermission. Open to the public with priority seating for members. Buffet and drinks available
