The North Galveston County Chamber of Commerce
has joined forces with All Points Productions to bring the Kemah Classic Car Show & Coastal Starving Artists Festival to the Kemah Lighthouse District on Saturday, October 3, 2009.
Just 20 minutes south of downtown Houston , the Festival is held in Bay Area Houston located midway between Houston and Galveston .
The event is staged in the spacious parking lot of the Kemah Visitors Center located at the corner of 6th & Bradford Streets.
Over 100 gorgeous classic cars from across the state will be on display for families to enjoy. Complimenting the excitement of the shiny steel and chrome are fine original works of art and handmade
crafts at reasonable prices. Painters, sculptors, woodworkers,photographers, potters and many more come together for a day at the bay.
Long time Classic Car enthusiast of Bay Area Cruisers are bringing their expertise to handle judging and teaching.The Coastal Garden is serving up adult beverages and soft drinks along with live entertainment in a relaxing atmosphere. Fun festival food is also available.
Friday, October 2 kicks off the event with a pre-show Cruise beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Kemah Wal-Mart parking lot on SH 146. The Cruise departs at 7:30 p.m. and ends at Hugh & Jeff’s Car Wash on SH 646 for
an evening of fun & entertainment.
