produced an incomparable world-class performer, singer and songwriter in Kaye Bohler. This bandleader

With over 20 years of performance experience including; touring Japan with American Can Can Review,
the Pacific North West with the band Pele Juju, countless concert, club and festival appearances up and
down the California coast, has led Kaye to develop a well-crafted original show of tasty swing and High
impact Rhythm and Blues. Having shared the stage with legendary Rhythm and Blues favorites such as
Bozz Skaggs, Tommy Castro, Johnny Johnson, Magic Slim, Sista’ Monica, Rod Piazza, and countless others
she is posed to move into the spotlight of the greats in American Roots Music.
This March 2009 Kaye will be releasing her finest work to date, a 10-song original CD, entitled, “Like A
Flower” featuring Robben Ford on the title track. With the help of Producer, Tony Lufrano this compilation
of original material captures a bit of the East Bay Funk, Old School R&B, jazz and a journey of life’s
experience through song as only a Blues Singer can deliver. Only the upper echelon of (San Francisco)
Bay Area Rhythm and Blues musicians were chosen for these recordings including; Tommy Castro, Danny
Caron, Steve Evans, Nancy Wright, Garth Webber, Sammy Varela, Jimmy Sanchez, John Paul, Tom Poole,
Mike Rinta, Johnnie Bamont among others. This CD stamps in your memory an impression of a true
singer, a woman with a golden tambered big voice in love with her craft devoted to delivering the real
deal.
Kaye is noted as saying, “ When I found the blues, I came home. The Blues are the foundation to all the
music I chose to sing and write” This is evidenced on her 2003 live recording entitled “Live at Moe’s Alley,”
and “Men and Music” recorded in 2000. Both of these CD’s are phenomenal representations of Kaye’s
