"Katrina Cries" is an original tragedy written by Eric Ross, based on his experiences with post-Katrina victims. The play tells the story of one family's life before and after the hurricane, with a series of monologues based on interviews with other survivors. It is a compelling story and shows both the strength of the human spirit as well as what we can and cannot endure in the face of such circumstances. Doors open at 5:30pm, showtime is 6:00pm. 30% of the proceeds to go the New Orleans Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
