Confluence Project: PlatteForum Creative Residency + MCA Denver is a strategic partnership between PlatteForum and MCA Denver to be insalled in the Fox Family Idea Box. PlatteForum’s Creative Resident Katie Watson created new work and led Learning Lab workshops with teens from PlatteForum’s ArtLab and MCA Denver’s Teen Council. Students researched, created, installed, and now exhibit their work side-by-side with the resident artist in the Fox Family Idea Box. This residency is the first annual collaborative project with the two organizations.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver is located at 15th St and Delgany St in Downtown Denver. Event parking available across 15th St.
MCA Denver’s educational programs and TeCo is sponsored in part by the Fox Family and Daniel Lincoln & Mark Watts. Additionally, MCA Denver + PlatteForum appreciate the citizens of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the Colorado Council on the Arts and Riverfront Park Community Foundation for their support.
