“Karfluki” refers to a popular tune in Tempest’s repertoire and translates to something like “big fun” and “off the wall.” It is an apt phrase to describe the variety of acts and activities taking place at the event, organized by Tempest lead singer, mandolinist, and founder Lief Sorbye. “This year is our twentieth year together as a band and we have created an exciting 20th Anniversary Show just for Karfluki Fest.” said Sorbye. “This will be a very special concert featuring four key lineups of the band together in one spectacular performance: Tempest Through The Ages, spiced up with Dancers, jugglers, Fire and Mayhem!”
