BOOK SIGNING AT: I Can’t Believe It’s A Book Store
North Carolina native and New Bern resident, Karen Dodd will be at I Can’t Believe It’s A Book Store at 128 W. Main Street, Washington, NC, Friday, June 25 from 1-6 PM. She’ll be available to answer questions about writing her latest book, Spirit of Union Point, the first in the Riverwalk series.
Ken Grubel, Sun Journal book reviewer said, “The outcome will surprise you. I think this is the first mystery I’ve read that would double as a guidebook” to New Bern and its Civil War history.
All Dodd’s books are available at I Can’t Believe It’s A Book Store from the first, Carolina Comfort I &II, growing up in the 1950’s stories, coastal living, Down East on Nelson’s Island, to coastal mystery, Begin Again, Quinn, and romance, Shifting Sands, her later novels. The award winning author is currently working on her seventh book, set in New Bern with local sites and 18th century history woven into the plot. The Riverwalk Series focuses on different centuries of New Bern’s 300 year history.
Dodd is a member of New Bern Historical Society, Romance Writers of America and Heart of Carolina Romance Writers. She is a long time member of the NC Writers’ Network.
