The New York Times calls the KLR Trio “one of the best blended, most sensitive and intelligent piano trios in the world today.” In over three decades together – the KLR is one of the few chamber ensembles with all of its original members – the group has set a new standard for the piano trio. Their PCMS program includes works by Beethoven and Mendelssohn and Brahms’ Piano Quartet in G Minor with rising star Nokuthula Ngwenyama joining the trio on viola.
