Formed in 2001, (kaj) is a four member high-energy, modern rock band hailing from the Alle-Kiski Valley of Western Pennsylvania. The band consists of the following members: Brian Shaffer on the mic and acoustic guitar (Kittanning, PA), Curt Costanzo plays lead guitar and sings backing vocals (Ford City, PA), Gary Barret plays bass (Avonmore, PA), and Eric Anthony playing percussion and singing backing vocals (Kittanning, PA).
