Maestro Kai Eckhardt made his debut as a band leader in the fall of 2011 to a packed house at San Francisco’s premier jazz venue Yoshi’s. The Afro-German bassist-composer is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in the John McLaughlin Trio and the super- jam band Garaj Mahal. An international all-star band will perform a brand new body of music infused with poetry and exquisite instrumental passages.
