Grammy Award Winners, including Keoki Kahumoku and Sonny Lim, will be teaching at this workshop for begining, internediate and advanced classes in ukulele, slack key guitar, steel guitar and walking bass plus music and Hawaiian language. The last Kahumoku workshop drew people from around the world who immersed themselves with the musicians and Hawaiian youth who were scholarshipped into the event. The lifestyle part of the workshop includes local grown food, fish, game and talk-story with such musicians as Sonny Lim, Keoki Kahumoku and Diana Aki. Kanikapila, the gathering together to play music each night was a favorite activity as was the Hawaiian choir practice.
