A skilled classical vocalist from Kerala, South India, K. S. Resmi has been selected as the featured artist at the Swathi Thirunal Carnatic Music Festival at the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, 6905 Cipriano Road, Lanham, Maryland 20706, on Saturday, August 23, 2008, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. She will be accompanied by Sandhya Srinath on violin and Srinath Balasubramanian on mridangam.
