JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is offering delicious holiday menus this Thanksgiving at Blue Sage, Tuscany and Meritage Steakhouse.
For an extravagant Thanksgiving buffet with a contemporary American flair, head to Blue Sage to indulge in elaborate seafood, antipasto, breakfast, meat, pasta and dessert stations. The sumptuous buffet will feature maple-glazed ham, herb-rubbed New York Strip, slow-roasted turkey, salmon wellington, shrimp, crab, stuffed French toast, quiche, cavatappi and penne pasta and made-to-order omelet station.
The buffet includes mushroom bisque soup, spinach, Greek and Caesar salads, creamy orzo, candied yams, roasted vegetables, and custom dessert stations featuring crepes, cotton candy, ice cream sundaes, pumpkin spice praline mousse, New York cheese cake, peach blueberry cobbler, strawberry torte and vanilla crème brulee.
The Blue Sage Thanksgiving buffet, served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 24, is $65 per adult and $32.50 for children ages 12 and under. Picturesque outdoor seating is available at this casual, lively eatery.
Tuscany, a restaurant featuring hand-crafted pastas, will offer a Thanksgiving menu that starts with a mouthwatering appetizer of butternut squash soup or heirloom greens with goat cheese and candied walnuts topped with a cranberry vinaigrette. The entrée choices feature rotisserie turkey breast and deep fried dark meat turkey served with sage gravy and cranberry compote; a Scottish salmon with lemon beurre blanc; or a New York Strip with green peppercorn jus. Family-style side dishes will feature mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey ravioli and caramelized Brussels sprouts.
Desserts will include a pumpkin spice crème brulee with a warm winter spiced cake, maple pecan brittle and brown butter ice cream.
Offered from 2 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 24, the Tuscany Thanksgiving dinner is $49 for adults and $24.50 for children ages 12 and under.
Enjoy sweeping views of Wildfire Golf Club's green fairways on the patio of savory Meritage Steakhouse, which will be serving a delicious holiday prix fixe dinner. The Thanksgiving menu begins with your choice of butter nut squash bisque, an autumn Meritage or classic Caesar salad. Entrée selections consist of roasted turkey breast, cedar plank wild salmon or house-smoked Brandt prime rib. Sides will be served family style and include cranberry sauce, fried onions, organic green beans, wild mushrooms, sweet butter Yukon mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potato marshmallow gratin and chestnut apple stuffing.
Desserts will feature a trio of Thanksgiving traditions including pumpkin pie with cinnamon cream, chocolate pecan pie with milk chocolate mousse and a warm Granny Smith apple tart with rum raisin and vanilla crème fraiche.
The Thanksgiving menu at Meritage Steakhouse will be offered from 3 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 24. Cost is $59 for adults and $29.50 for children ages 12 and under.
