JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa Offers New Year’s Eve Dining December 30, 2012

JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is offering delicious holiday menus this New Year's Eve at its unique restaurants.

On New Year's Eve, Tuscany will feature an a la carte menu which offers specials in addition to its regular menu including a starter option of a McClendon Farm’s heirloom baby lettuce salad with root vegetable chips and toasted pistachio for $10, a second-course option of seafood risotto with prawns, scallops and clams at $19 and a main course of rack of lamb with creamy polenta and roasted brussels sprouts with wild mushroom ragout for $29.The delicious New Year’s dessert special is a dark caraibe cocoa bar with Tahitian vanilla bean gelato and candied local citrus. The Tuscany New Year’s Eve dinner is offered from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Meritage Steakhouse will also be serving special New Year’s features. Specials include delicious pan seared bone marrow and Dungeness crab cake for $16 which can be followed by an organic greens salad featuring poached pear and champagne vinaigrette for $10. The featured holiday entrée is a savory Cedar River Farms beef short ribs with lobster macaroni and cheese gratin, grilled royal trumpet mushrooms, and a truffle herb salad for $38. A cinnamon cheesecake with Chai tea Bavarian and Grand Marnier berries at $9 is offered to complete the holiday meal. The New Year's Eve dinner at Meritage Steakhouse is offered from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 31.

The Vista Lounge is ringing in the New Year with its existing lounge menu and a champagne toast at midnight, from 11 to 1 a.m.
