JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is offering special a la carte dinner menus on Valentine's Day, Thursday, Feb. 14 at Tuscany and Meritage Steakhouse.
Tuscany will be serving a romantically inspired Valentine's a la carte menu starting with a truffle frito misto featuring Pacific Northwest oysters, calamari, artichokes and basil aioli for $14. Diners will then enjoy a local shaved vegetable salad with fennel, organic beat chips, Crow’s Dairy goat feta and Verjus vinaigrette at $10.
Entrée choices include house-made lobster ravioli with Maine lobster, fresh ricotta and cognac butter for $23; or veal saltimbocca with San Danielle prosciutto, sage pappardelle, Tuscan kale and wild mushroom ragout at $26. Then, cuddle up to your sweetie for a delectable dessert of cherry chocolate with chocolate paté, macerated cherry gelato and hazelnut crunch for $8.
The Tuscany Valentine's dinner is served from 5 to 10 p.m.
The savory Meritage Steakhouse a la carte menu includes a starter of oyster three ways, which features a ceci dusted oyster with remoulade, a Hood Canal oyster shooter with Grey Goose and local tomato juice and oyster rockefeller with spinach and parmigiano reggiano for $14. The featured salad is McClendon Farms organic greens with local figs, pomegranate, avocado and aged balsamic-basil vinaigrette at $10.
The main course special is a 12 ounce American Wagyu ribeye with a carmelized shallot demi for $42. Side dishes include sweet potato pommes frites with dehydrated local honey for $9 and cauliflower gratin with goat cheese béchamel at $9. A sweetheart's dessert will tantalize with carmelized banana crème brûlée, a caribe dark chocolate torte, banana gelato and dark chocolate crunch for $9.
The Meritage Steakhouse Valentine’s Day dinner is served from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Vista Lounge is offering live entertainment from 6 to 10 p.m. and its existing lounge menu from 11 to 1 a.m.
