JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is offering delicious Easter brunch and dinner menus at its Tuscany, Meritage Steakhouse and Blue Sage restaurants.
Tuscany, inspired by the comfort and cuisine of a traditional Italian country home offering hand-crafted authentic cuisine, will be serving an Easter brunch menu including an antipasti buffet with assorted cheeses and sliced meats; scallion pesto, black garlic puree and whole grain mustard with grilled ciabatta bread and assorted crackers.
A selection of salads including a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes, a spring mixed salad with pears and gorgonzola and a fregula sarda salad with English cucumbers and herb Crow’s Dairy goat feta will also be offered at the antipasti buffet.
Guests will enjoy a choice of entrees including rotisserie roasted rosemary leg of lamb with mushroom ragout, mint papperdelle with Merguez sausage and sun-dried tomatoes with Pecorino cheese; smoked ham frittata with gruyere, Yukon potatoes and caramelized onions; duck confit and speck salad with toasted walnuts, watercress and apple; and Tuscan eggs benedict on grilled ciabatta with San Danielle prosciutto, parmesan, plum tomatoes and béarnaise sauce.
The featured dessert is an orange yogurt Catalina with candied citrus and raspberry sorbet.
Offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, Tuscany's Easter brunch is $45 for adults and $22.50 for children under 12 years old.
Enjoy a bountiful Easter dinner at Meritage Steakhouse starting with braised Cedar River beef cheek with celeriac root puree and roasted corn and fava bean hash at $14 and local farm greens with watermelon, hazelnut, Crow’s Dairy goat cheese and San Danielle prosciutto for $11. A tantalizing main course is a Lucas Farms bone-in veal chop with black currant jus for $39.
Side dishes include truffle potato fritters with grana padana at $9 and roasted heirloom carrots for $9. Delicious desserts include a tasting trio of caraibe dark chocolate bar, local pecan green tea Bavarian, and blood orange Grand Marnier gelato at $9.
The Meritage Steakhouse Easter dinner offers an a la carte menu from 3 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 31.
Blue Sage is offering a festive Easter grand buffet – and it’s grand-- featuring a cold buffet with seasonal fruit and berries; charcuterie and antipasto display offering grilled zucchini, artichokes, eggplants and assorted domestic artisanal meats; an assortment of salads including local spinach and kale, nicoise, red skinned potato and McClendon Farms mixed greens; poached shrimp, crab claws, Washington state oysters, smoked salmon, an American caviar station and a sushi bar. A hot buffet will feature an omelet station; petite wild mushroom quiche, Belgian waffles, blue corn pancakes and challah French toast; farm eggs benedict; smoked crispy bacon; pasta including cavatappi alfredo and orecchiette marinara; a carving station with maple glazed ham, cracked pepper and sea salt New York strip loin and free range roasted whole turkey; main dishes include free range chicken and organic salmon.
An extensive array of desserts by the award-winning National and World pastry Champions include lemon meringue pie, exotic fruit tart, triple chocolate napoleon, carrot cake, chocolate hazelnut tart, peach blueberry crostada pie, strawberry short cake, and milk chocolate bread pudding.
The Blue Sage Easter buffet is $69 per adult and $32.50 for children under 12 years old. The grand buffet will be served from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 31.
