Founded in 2005, the concept of the Juventas new music ensemble began as a means to offer society at large an amazing opportunity to get to know the music by today's generation of young composers.

In attempting to fill this niche, Juventas is taking a fresh approach to
presenting music. For example, we primarily perform pieces by composers under the age of 35, and we travel to many different venues in the process. This approach attracts a variety of people to experience music that otherwise might have only been available to listeners through an academic setting. Additionally, Juventas is excited to explore a variety of musical idioms and genres; in fact, we intend to perform, over time, nearly every submission that we receive, so long as the instrumentation and difficulty is suitable to our capabilities.

Over the past two years, Juventas has held over 12 concerts in 6 different venues. Please help us support new music by attending our upcoming performance!
