"Lights, camera.... action!" These holidays, rather than searching for the latest blockbuster to watch at the local cinema, why not learn the art of making a film yourself? This course will provide students with the inspiration and opportunity to learn the art of film making. Participants will embark on the complete create design process to explore the design their own storyboard, film, edit and then produce short feature film. We will consider the director's toolkit to enhance the degree to which the film can entertain the audience by considering the impact of camera angle, script, scenery, lighting and sound effects or music to manipulate the audience's emotional reaction to the viewing experience. No previous experience is required. However, if you have used iMovie before then this course will provide further experience and challenge through the use of Final Cut Pro. Bring nothing but your imagination and recollections of your favourite movie experiences .... coming to a classroom "studio" near you this December!
