Junior Book & Author: Donna Jo Napoli November 1, 2012

Our 9th Junior Book & Author event will be held November 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Godwin High School. This year’s event will feature internationally acclaimed author, Donna Jo Napoli who has written 68 books for readers of all ages, ranging from contemporary fiction to fantasy to historical novels.

The Junior Book & Author program reaches out to local middle school children, a demographic that often lacks special literacy efforts by other organizations and programs. The intent of JLR’s event is to foster a love of reading and writing by providing the unique opportunity to learn about and visit with an author through personal school visits, Chat ‘n’ Chew book clubs, and the annual Be a Junior Author writing competition.
