Come join Greenpeace as we occupy trees in Bangalore on the 8th of September for a whole day in solidarity with Brikesh Singh. A Greenpeace activist, Brikesh will live on a tree in the forests of Chandrapur, Maharashtra for a month protesting the destruction of tiger habitat in central India for coal mining.
Our friends - Swaratma, Moonarra, and The Bicycle Days will perform at Kanteerva Stadium on the 8th of September, lending their musical talents to support our cause. Shilo Shiv Suleman will lead a community paint drive, and folk dancer will perform Hulli Vesha an ancient artistic tradition which tells the story of the Tiger.
