The National Brotherhood Alliance and the City of Richmond presents the Juneteenth Family Day Parade and Festival. Juneteenth in Richmond features fun for the entire family with two stages of entertainment, food and crafts vendors and children's activities. The Festival kicks off with an old fashioned parade starting at 10:30 am from Marina Way and Cutting Blvd, travels up 37th to Macdonald Ave and ends at Nichol Park. Headliners - legendary soulman Lenny Williams, and "I can do bad by myself" blues great Jesse James. Juneteenth is a historical celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
