Juneteenth Commemoration June 19, 2009

The Board of Directors at 227 Abolitionist place invite you to join us on Friday, June 19th, the anniversary of a historic day, as we pay tribute to our ancestors and the abolitionists who risked their lives for freedom.

Entertainment: Spoken word, Dance, Drumming, Video Documentary and Special Hip Hop Performance

All proceeds for this event will benefit the Abolitionist Place Museum, a 501 (C)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving this sacred space, and documenting this landmark in the Downtown Brooklyn area.
