This month, enjoy one of Connecticut’s most breathtaking historic gardens — lovingly designed in 1921 by Amy Cogswell, one of the nation’s first female landscape architects — during special events on June 26 and June 30 at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum.
On Thursday, June 30 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., join the Webb-Deane Stevens museum’s Summer Garden Party for an evening of cocktails, conversion and music by Infinitango, Connecticut’s leading Tango band. Formed in Hartford and comprised of accordionist Markus Centola, pianist Maria Centola, violinist Jessica Meyer and double bass player Sean Rubin, this dynamic ensemble has created a bright and unique repertoire, perfect for a garden setting. Wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. The first floor of the Joseph Webb House and the museum’s gift shop will be open to visitors during the party. Admission is $20; tickets may be purchased from the Museum Gift Shop in advance or on the evening of the event. Off-street parking will be available behind the Webb Barn.
