I’m holding a College Application Training "Jump Start" Seminar on Saturday, May 21st from 9am to 3pm at Loyola Marymount University.

This one day seminar explains all of the components of the college application, each one broken down to its essential elements to de-mystify the process and de-stress the students.

During the "Jump Start" Seminar students will: 1)Learn tricks to immediately raise their test scores; 2) Develop a "Personal Portfolio" to use as a foundation for the essays, interviews, and short answer questions; 3) Create a manageable "Action Plan" for completing the applications ahead of deadline; 4) Discover how to get over the paralyzing fear of not knowing how to begin an essay; and 5) Practice exuding confidence, but not arrogance.

In just a few hours, students will learn everything they need to create great college applications in a fast and efficient manner without the process taking over their, and their parents, life.
