The 2009 Signature Luncheon Event Series features prominent corporate leaders from around the Metroplex who bring their stories of success in business to the membership. Building upon the success of the previous signature event series, this luncheon continues the theme "Connecting. Communicating. Collaborating for Business Success." Through these series, the Chamber hopes to further support and develop surrounding businesses in the area. The luncheon will introduce the authoritative voice of Dr. Stephen Mansfield, President & CEO of Methodist Health System and Ronald Boring, President of Methodist Richardson Medical Center. The event speakers will offer the latest approach on how to grow a business based on the current economic outlook, and the relevance cooperation has toward business success.
The 2009 Signature Luncheon Event Series features:
Stephen Mansfield, PhD, FACHE, serves as president and CEO of Methodist Health System. Before joining Methodist Health System, Mansfield served for six years as president and chief executive officer of St. Vincent Health System and received the Modern Healthcare Solucient Top 100 Performance Improvement Leader Award for 2004 and 2005. Mansfield has spent over 20 years in a variety of CEO and executive roles with the Baptist Memorial Health Care System in Memphis, Tennessee.
Ronald Boring was named president and chief executive officer of Richardson Regional Medical Center in 1993. Boring began working for Richardson Regional Medical Center in 1980 in multiple roles including chief operating officer, vice president operations, and director of cardiopulmonary services. In 2004, Richardson Regional Medical Center was the first health care organization to receive the Texas Award for Performance Excellence. In 1998, he was named Citizen of the Year by the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.
