July DCRUG: Lightning Talks July 9, 2009

Our next meeting is Thursday, July 9 at 7pm and, as always, you are all welcome to attend and participate.

Variety is the spice of life, so this month, several members of our community will be providing short presentations on Ruby- and Rails-related topics.

Current "lightning talks" include:
* Behavior-driven development with Cucumber
* Internationalization in Rails
* Easy project generation with Beet
* The "Z" Shell (zsh), an alternative to bash
* Being a "civic coder"

We are looking for a few more, so if you have a topic or project on which you'd like to do a 15-minute presentation, please email me at joe at intridea.com and I'll add you to the list.
