The City of Kissimmee will host its annual Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 4 at Kissimmee Lakefront Park from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Make plans to celebrate with your friends and family.
The evening will include a free concert featuring: Pocket Change with music from the 50s to the 80s, along with Glenn Cummings and the Session Hounds with a little country and country rock. Food will be sold by local restaurants and activities will include KUA’s Kids Land.
Immediately following the concert, the festivities will conclude with an impressive fireworks display (co-sponsored by Kissimmee Utility Authority) that will light up the skies above Big Lake Toho.
Blankets, lawn chairs, and food and beverages are allowed in Lakefront Park. However, coolers are subject to a search. Please remember that personal barbecue grills, fireworks and alcoholic beverages are NOT PERMITTED during the Kissimmee July 4th Celebration.
Parking options: The City will provide a free bus shuttle service from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (on July 4th only) from the Albertson’s at Town Corral Plaza in Kissimmee, located on the corner of John Young Parkway and Highway 192. Preferred parking will be available at the Kissimmee Civic Center for $5/car.
