July 4th - Californian Fireworks Sail July 4, 2009

Want a special way to celebrate our Country's Birthday? Then join us as we open the Fireworks Salute on the great San Diego Bay aboard the Official Tall Ship - Californian.

We will get underway at 6:30 pm for a brief sail about the bay before lowering sail and taking up station to open the evening's celebration. Californian will fire her four 6 pound cannons (the largest of any tall ship on the west coast) to start the fireworks display and again as a salute to the evening's end. We will return to dock at the museum by 9:30 - 10:00 pm.

It is recommended that all passengers bring a jacket and proper foot wear. Cash Bar available onboard.

Tickets are $65.00 per person.

Purchase of a ticket for this event allows for admission to the museum and its fleet of historic ships from 9am until boarding on July 4th. The Californian is a replica of gold rush era revenue cutter and the Official Tall Ship of the State of California.
