Founded in 1946 and widely known as “the quintessential American string quartet,” the JSQ presents a farewell performance as violist Samuel Rhodes prepares to retire from the famed ensemble. Performing a program featuring two viola quintets, the JSQ welcomes guest violist Roger Tapping, who will join the ensemble in the 2013-2014 season
