San Francisco sensation Judy Butterfield will receive the Julie Wilson Award at the Opening Night Gala of the 2008 Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention at Lincoln Center. A protege of "Queen of Cabaret" Andrea Marcovicci, she made her New York debut at the age of fourteen at the Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention. Eighteen-year-old Judy has performed for Standing Room Only audiences at venues across the country including The Algonquin in New York City, The Cinegrill in LA, and the Empire Plush Room in San Francisco, with her debut cabaret show 'Judy Sings Judy: Songs Of A Young Garland,' directed by Clifford Bell. Ms. Butterfield has recently released her second CD 'How Long Has This Been Going On?'
