JP, Chrissie and the Fairground Boys is a collaboration between Chrissie Hynde, JP Jones, and friends. Hynde, a fiercely truthful songwriter and committed animal-rights activist, met Jones only two years ago. After a quick first meeting, Jones wrote a song for Hynde that would eventually wind up on their debut album. Hynde and Jones unfurl their story amid a backdrop of rock and folk with blues and country underpinnings. They both sing lead, trade verses, and wrap their contrasting voices around one another so naturally, it’s as if they’ve been singing together for much longer. Their obvious affection for each other bleeds through every acoustic guitar-driven track. JP, Chrissie, & The Fairground Boys have just released their debut album, "Fidelity!".
