JOURNEY INTO ART: 21st Annual Award Benefit Gala October 10, 2009

LA Artcore will host the 21st Annual Benefit Award gala on Saturday, October 10, 2008 at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. The lively fundraising event, to support the daily operations of LA Artcore, will honor this year artist/writer Francisco Letelier and J. Paul Getty's Associate Director Thomas Rhoads. This gala benefit attracts up to 300 of the city’s movers and shakers to celebrate the leaders of the local art community.

The event starts with a cocktail reception accompanied with a silent auction, (jewelry, crafts and luxury services), followed by dinner and a live art auction conducted by Alex Slato (Vice President of Exhibitions at the Museum of Latin American Art).
The live entertainment will be provided by the local band Ocho X.
