Grammy-nominated flutist Joshua Smith captivates audiences with his "superlative control" and “breathtaking sensitivity.” A flute prodigy who was appointed Principal Flute of the Cleveland Orchestra at age 20, Smith is today equally at home as a leading soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. Entitled “Day and Night, I Call Only Love,” Smith’s PCMS recital debut with pianist Christina Dahl is a feast of romantic and modern compositions, including rarely-heard gems by Elliott Carter, Robert Schumann and Carl Reinecke.
